WOULD I LIE TO YOU?

WOULD I LIE TO YOU?

I'd be lying if I said I never lied.

It's probably fair to say we all lie from time to time. It's also possibly fair to say many of us were brought up being told that lying is wrong.

But is it?

Read the following scenarios recently presented by Professor of Philosophy Gerald Dworkin to New York Times readers and consider whether you think it's ok to lie or not.

After you submit you can see how everyone else has responded and together we can learn a bit more about lies and if/when they're justified.
