The Lost Child

There is a girl, you guess around the age of 6, outside your local mall. You pass her as you enter to buy a drink and when you return to your car twenty minutes later she is still there. This time she is visibly upset. There are no other adults in sight, and the shops will be closing in a few minutes. When you ask her if she is ok she tells you that her Mother dropped her here earlier and told her to wait for her. You asses from your short conversation that she has spent at least an hour, possibly more, waiting for her mother to return. She has her school bag with her and you have her name, she also provides you with a phone number. You call this number but the phone is off.
