The choice between two clients
Anna is a clinical psychologist who is currently in a session with Jane. Jane, who is a young woman suffering from depression, is at the stage in her treatment where she is finally reaching a breakthrough with her problems, however, Anna sees that she only has five minutes left of the session and feels that if the session does not last a couple of minutes longer, then the work Jane has so far accomplished may be jeopardised. The only issue is that Anna’s next client is Frank. Frank suffers from OCD and experiences panic attacks every time he does not see Anna at exactly 10 am every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
It is proposed that Anna allows Jane's session to last a couple of minutes longer
