Secret Administration of Psychological Drugs for Those Under the Age of Consent
As a psychologist you have been working with a young male called Cameron, who is 15 years old. Cameron has presented with psychotic symptoms that warrant the use of psychotic medication. As Cameron’s therapist, you have decided that Cameron would greatly benefit from the use of medication. Cameron flatly refuses to voluntarily take the medication you have prescribed. Cameron’s symptoms are gradually getting worse and are starting to have an impact on his school life and home life. Cameron’s parents are desperate for him to take the medication. Because Cameron is under the age of consent, you advise his parents that they are in their rights to administer the drug to Cameron regardless of his decision to not take medication.
Cameron's parents decide to crush up his medication and secretly mix it with his food.
It is proposed that Camerons parents should mix his medication with his food without his knowledge.
