Scope of practise

You are an oral health therapist working at a local primary school. Within your scope of practise you are allowed to treat under 18 year olds for dental therapy and you can treat anybody regardless of age for dental hygiene.
Jane is a patient of yours that you have been treating under your therapy scope. When you started her treatment she was 17 years old. Jane still has a lot of treatment to complete under your dental therapy scope and she has just turned 18 years old.
