While listenening to the radio on my way home from work today the person being interviewed made reference to a statement made by Barack Obama. It intrigued me so once home I found the speech - and the statement.
Among his other words, Obama said:
'...this is the best time in human history to be born'

The man being interviewed didn't think so...he said he'd have preferred to have lived in the 7th Century...something about lots of wilderness to explore.
