Medical Laboratory Science: Family Time Can Wait?
After graduating with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science from University, Mark finds a solid position in his profession, already married, and has 2 sons. About 13 years later, he secures another job, promising him guaranteed steady advancements within the managerial positions. A devoted family man, Mark has faith in his wife's commitment to bringing up their sons. As the boys grow older and approach their teen years, Mark notices that his boys grow increasingly needy of his fatherly care and friendship, especially when these years are critical in their transition towards adulthood and can prove to be a very difficult time in their life.
Because of this, he has promised to spend a great amount of quality time with them, playing soccer and assisting with their homework.
At the same time, Mark loves his career and is one of the top employees at his work. It has become clear that he in order to move up to the managerial ranks, he will require an MBA. A close University offers this course from 6pm - 9pm every weekday and from 9am - 4pm on weekends which would allow him to still work full-time, but it would take up his free time that he has promised the boys for the next few years, leaving most of the family activities in his wife's hands.
It is proposed that Mark should continue studying and improve his career
