Can personal grudge affect profissional decisions.
Mr John is a doctor, he has a son who is a drug addict and was involved with a rubbery in a pharmacy conducted by another drug addict named Mr Tayler. Mr Tayler supplied Mr john's son with drugs and pressurized him in to the rubbery. Mr Tayler was admitted to the hospital with sever abdominal pain, he was being examined by Mr John and was given his first dose of medication, and was under supervision by Mr John. On the same day there was a plane crash outside the same hospital and the ward was getting full and flat out of incoming patients. Mr John was getting very pressurized by the number of patients being admitted and so he went on to treat other patients and forgot to follow up on Mr Tayler. later on when another doctor came up and checked on Mr Tayler he was very unwell and after being treated by Mr John, Mr Tayler warned Mr John that he will complain to the health board about his miss conduct. when Mr John was questioned by the health board, he accepted the actions he committed but he said there was nothing personal or intentional about his conduct towards Mr Tayler's treatment. It was just that the ward was getting too many patients on the same time and so he forgot to follow up with Mr Tayler's treatment. when reminded by the other doctor Mr John saved Mr Tayler's life.
It is proposed that Mr John should not be disqualified or fired just because of this incident.
